I wouldn't call myself an environmental activist, but I do care a lot for the world around me, and we are RUINING it! Seriously people! All the economy cares about is taxes=money. There is a beautiful little forest behind my house, and they guy who owns it sold it! That's all we care about nowadays, isn't it?! Forget the trees and the animals, let's get rich! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Now they're going to cut down the trees, shoo the animals out, and build four yardless houses (because they're too close together) that will take forever to sell because they'll be so expensive. There goes our privacy! More traffic, more noise. But does the county care? Nooooooooooooo. Because guess what; they get money out of it! Yay for them!
County: "Oh, gee, it doesn't matter that the people don't want it. I don't care how many trees we lose-it's just one little forest, who cares? I get money out of it."
Uh, we care! One friggin' forest my butt! Seriously people, what is this world coming to?! Every time I think about it I just want to scream. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
